Hand rearing orphaned cubs PDF Print E-mail

Cubs need to be fed regularly, just as they would be in the wild. Cubs need to be fed regularly, just as they would be in the wild. On arrival, the babies are weighed and examined thoroughly, in order to determine whether they have any wounds or disabilities. Each baby has a chart on which all details are recorded.

The amount of milk given to each one is determined by its weight. The amount fed at a time is also determined by how many feedings it will receive during a 24 hour period.
